Watch the video from Rick's recent show! Rick and four of his band played the coffee house event supporting the Community YMCA Strong Kids Campaign at the Children's Cultural Center, Red Bank, on March 7, 2008. It was a wonderful show and one of the tunes they played, You Have A Place, was caught on video. Enjoy!
Where do you go for good music? Let Rick know in a note through the Talk to Rick page. EXCELLENT----EXCELLENT----- EXCELLENT Rick and his 5-piece band rocked a normally quiet house this afternoon for 1 hour of non-stop music. It was not the normal bluegrass that others play, but more of a folk-country with bluegrass instruments (except my favorite, the banjo, but there was no need for one). They played 12 songs, some original and some covers, and all were great. The fiddle and dobro each had solo breaks for all of the songs and the crowd applauded after each break. That pleased the die-hard bluegrassers. If anyone has a chance to see this band, JUST DO IT. Steve Deponti [Thanks Steve, glad to hear your enjoyed yourself! RD] The next CD is underway! Rick has been working with Steve Jankowski, horn player for Blood, Sweat and Tears, to build Steve's new recording studio, Jankland . The final paint is done and the equipment being moved in. Rick is pumped about the new tunes coming soon and says it's "worth the wait cause it's kicking giant ass so far!"
